Integrien Issued Third Patent For IT Performance Analytics
Patent Granted for Unique Approach to Modeling IT Performance Problems for Post-Mortem Root-Cause Analysis
IRVINE, CA – July 20, 2009 – Integrien Corporation, the leader in real-time performance analytics, today announced it has received a patent for another new method of analyzing IT performance data. This patent represents another validation of Integrien’s unique approach to proactive performance management for IT systems and services. With three patents now granted and 10 additional patent applications currently filed, Integrien continues pioneering a revolutionary, learning-based approach for analyzing and managing IT performance.
The patent, “System and method for generating and using fingerprints for IT performance management” (United States Patent 7,707,285) describes a system and method for capturing and using the building patterns of abnormal behaviors that lead to performance problems. These "problem fingerprints" can be used to predict re-occurrences of a problem and also for post-mortem analysis to clearly identify the root cause of the issue.

This new patent describes a method for modeling the abnormalities that lead to performance problems, allowing quicker incident closure with far less effort during post mortem analysis.”
