Integrien Alive™ turns IT performance data into ACTIONABLE INFORMATION. Alive is a real-time performance analytics solution that analyzes and correlates data across the monitored IT infrastructure, detects abnormalities in the enterprise, isolates the root cause and delivers early warnings of degrading performance before services are impacted.
Any Enterprise that wants to proactively manage their IT infrastructure can benefit from Alive , a real-time performance analytics solution. For more information click here.
Integrien solutions are deployed across wide range of industries including Fortune 500 organizations. To see list of customers click here.
Yes, Alive’s architecture was built from the ground up to support the largest IT environments To learn more about scalability of Alive™ click here.
No. Alive is data agnostic and uses flexible adapter framework to leverage your existing investment in monitoring solutions and provides real-time analytics to proactively manage your IT environment. To learn more about adapters click here.
As Alive learns more about your environment the value you receive increases. Initial learning and predictions based on Alarm and Metric correlation begin after two weeks of data collection. After 6 weeks, Alive’s Dynamic Thresholding algorithms have tuned to their maximum effectiveness and Problem Fingerprint capture and predictions begin in this timeframe as well.
Alive uses sophisticated Dynamic Thresholding algorithms to illuminate the real precursors to problems in your environment while suppressing the alert storms common in static threshold based monitoring environments. Dynamic thresholding learns the normal behavior of your systems accounting for the ebb and flow of the business. Static threshold based monitoring solutions often mask real problems because they don’t have this context. For example, if a static threshold is set at 80% for average CPU utilization on your servers, but the normal behavior at 9PM on Sunday nights is 10%, measurements of 60% at that time indicate a potential problem that you will not be alerted to. The arbitrary static threshold is masking the problem and if you reduce it to alert to this issue, you risk alert storms at times of more active system utilization. Yes. Alive has a role-based mechanism that enables the master systems administrator to assign different roles to different users. The system is flexible and the master administrator can add as many roles as appropriate. For example, line-of-business managers can be given a role that provides a dashboard showing just the high-level health of their IT services, help-desk staff can receive only problem notifications, and level-two support personnel can be given everything including out-of-normal warnings about their individual technology silos that they may choose to ignore or act on at their discretion.
Yes. The rich information obtained from the dashboard of the system can be used to proactively guide maintenance procedures.
Yes. Alive can be run both from the inside of your firewall and out. Alive's security features have been designed for providing this flexibility to systems administrators and also service providers that would be delivering monitoring and recovery services to their clients.
The web-based interface in Alive allows for standard port 443 SSL connections that can be accessed through your firewall.
Yes, you can deploy multiple distributed Alive collectors that can access data from your monitoring infrastructure and transmit it securely to the Alive server in a variety of secure ways that you choose from.
Alive delivers benefits in several areas targeted by ITIL. We greatly improve an organization's effectiveness in problem management through our end-to-end holistic view of applications. Our analytics significantly improve problem management, turning it from a post-mortem exercise after users are already down to a much more desirable prediction and prevention of the problem. Our feeds to popular service-desk tools containing the information in Problem Fingerprint alerts can help automate your Service Desk function.
Alive sits between your event management console and your monitoring infrastructure, consuming time series metric data and events from the monitoring infrastructure and producing intelligent, actionable alerts to your Event Management console. Essentially Alive provides a layer of automation and intelligence that speeds MTTI/MTTR and allows proactive problem solving over what can be achieved with hard threshold based alerting from your monitoring infrastructure. Alive can easily integrate to your problem management solution as well. We can also leverage configuration data from your CMDB of choice to speed deployment of topology based alert consolidation.
