Jim Armstrong
Clearstone Venture's Managing Director Jim Armstrong serves on Integrien's board. A successful and experienced early stage venture investor across a variety of enterprise and consumer facing technology companies, Jim has established himself as a leading investor and company builder in Southern California. Since joining Clearstone early in its formation, Jim has applied his strong management skills, communication skills, market knowledge and industry contacts to help Clearstone companies deliver a strong record of venture performance. Jim's work at Clearstone is focused on information technology investments, with particular interest in application software, information management and security, and Internet-enabled businesses. In each of 2004, 2005 and 2006, Jim was recognized as one of the top 100 Venture Capitalists in the United States by Forbes Magazine in its annual Midas List. Jim holds a BA in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Ameet Patel
Acartha Group Partner and CTO Ameet Patel serves on the board of Integrien. Prior to joining Acartha Group, Ameet spent seven years at JPMorgan Chase, most recently as Managing Executive of LabMorgan, a strategic technology advisory group within JPMorgan's investment banking Technology, Media and Telecom business unit. Prior to this role, Ameet was CTO of LabMorgan, with responsibility for delivering technology leadership for JPMorganChase's efinance business unit and providing strategic technology consulting services towards high impact 6sigma and digitization initiatives. He provided business & technology direction on their $500MM+ e-finance venture capital portfolio (Archipelago, MarketAxess, Dealertrack, IntraLinks, Tradeweb, Creditex, RiskMetrics, FxAll, Financial Engines,Kinexus, Yodlee, Tantau, and Home Advisor). Prior to his senior role at JPMorgan, Mr. Patel had a distinguished eight year career at BASF Corporation at its New Jersey headquarters that included heading BASF's System Integration Architecture and Development Group and its Advanced Technology Group. Mr. Patel has a M.S. in Computer Engineering, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.B.A. in Finance and Information Technology from Rutgers. Mr. Patel is broadly acknowledged as a technology industry leader and visionary as demonstrated by the following recognitions: ComputerWorld's "Top 100 IT Leaders" in 2004; InfoWorld's "Top 25 CTOs" in 2001; CIO Magazine's CIO-100 award for innovative business practices in 2001; and, Crain's "Top 40 under 40" young executives in 2000.
